I spent some time last night working on a project that I had started earlier but haven’t shown you yet. It’s a pattern that came out of Just Cross Stitch magazine, the March/April 2015 issue.

The pattern is named Teacup Herbs by Sharon Pope. There are four in the series. March/April’s issue had two, Dill and Thyme.

In the Garden….Mid Week

This past Saturday I took a seed starting class. I took one last year even though I had some earlier experience in seed starting. No matter what I think I know, I can always learn something new. Taking gardening classes is a lot like sewing. The instructors have different knowledge levels and experiences. I want to learn from them. I’m always seeking to learn more.

The Virtual Cookie Exchange is a sweet hop hosted annually by Carol of Just Let Me Quilt. I’m so excited to be a part of this fun hop for a 2nd time. Thanks so much for hosting Carol.

I mentioned last year I have 3 cookies I like to make each Christmas season. Last year I shared with you  Gingerbread Men. This year I’m sharing Chocolate Chip Cookies, Santa’s favorite. It’s a recipe that I altered over 20 years ago from a cookbook my sister-in-law had. I don’t remember the name of the cookbook.

The Road Home Row Along….Last Day….My Day

Organized by Marian of Seams To Be Sew and Amy of Sew Incredibly Crazy, this hop was open internationally so we have bloggers/designers from Washington to Africa.
